Messages is team messaging for your MSP staff, built into the Hub. It is part of The One Stack and is being built now.
Where Messages is going
Messages is meant to be the one place your MSP team talks and works together every day, so you don't need a separate team chat tool alongside The One Stack. It is coming in three places:
- In the Hub, as the staff messaging app for your MSP team. This comes first.
- In HCP (Hub Client Portal), so your team and your clients can message each other, under your own brand. See Messages in the client portal.
- Later, as its own desktop app, The One Messages, which your MSP can brand. See The One Messages desktop app.
None of these are available yet. This page doesn't list features; we'll add them here as each part ships.
Where it stands today
As of today, Messages is not open in the Hub: there is no Messages tile in your apps yet, and the old /messaging address takes you to Apps. We will update this page as each part becomes available.
What is being built
- Messages on the web inside the Hub comes first.
- What each person can see and do in Messages follows the permissions they already have in The One Stack.
- THEO is planned to be available in Messages. See THEO in Messages.
- After the web version, a desktop app, The One Messages. See The One Messages desktop app.
- Messaging with your clients in the client portal. See Messages in the client portal.
What to use today
- Ask THEO in the Hub. See What is THEO?
