Workflows connects the apps in The One Stack to each other. When something happens in one app, a workflow can carry it into the next, so your team stops copying the same information between screens. Workflows is free and bundled with The One Stack. There's nothing extra to buy.
Two names, one app. In My Apps the tile is called The One Workflows. Inside the app, the navigation just says Workflows.
Where to find Workflows in the Hub
Open The One Workflows from My Apps, or go to app.theonestack.com/workflows. The app has these areas:
| Area | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Workflows | Your organization's workflows (/workflows) |
| Templates | Starting points for new workflows |
| Runs | Each time a workflow ran, and how it went |
| Activity | Recent activity across your workflows |
| Notifications | Workflow notifications |
| Outreach | Outreach workflows |
| Settings | Workflows settings for your organization |
To start a new workflow, open Studio at /workflows/new. The classic builder is still at /workflows/new/classic.
AI Agents live in RMM, not Workflows
AI Agents are a separate feature. You'll find them in RMM → Automation → Agentic Automation → AI Agents, at /rmm/automation-hub/agents.
- Old links to
/workflows/agentsand/tier-zero/agentstake you there automatically. - Tier Zero is included at no extra cost.
- RMM → Automation → Agentic Automation has its own pages (AI Agents, Runbooks at
/rmm/automation-hub/*). They aren't the same thing as the Workflows app at/workflows.
What Workflows doesn't include
So you know what to expect:
- Custom Actions are retired and not available.
- A ready-made template gallery isn't available yet.
- Conversation Agents are not available. They're deferred.
What this guide doesn't cover yet
This page is an overview. Step-by-step guides for building workflows in Studio will be published once they've been checked against the live app. If you need help now, submit a request and choose Workflows as the affected module.
Common questions
Does Workflows cost extra?
No. Workflows is free and bundled with The One Stack. There's no billing SKU.
Is "The One Workflows" a different app from "Workflows"?
No. The One Workflows is the name on the launcher tile, and Workflows is the name in the app's navigation. They're the same app.
Where do I set up an AI agent?
In RMM: Automation → Agentic Automation → AI Agents (/rmm/automation-hub/agents). AI Agents aren't part of Workflows.
