Overview
If your IT provider passes billing through the portal, you can view your invoice history, download PDFs, and pay outstanding invoices online using a credit card or bank account.
Finding Your Invoices
- Click Billing in the sidebar.
- The Billing dashboard shows your total outstanding balance, the next due date, and your most recent payment.
- Below the summary, you'll see a list of invoices with columns for invoice number, billing period, status, and amount.
Invoice statuses you may see:
- Sent — issued and awaiting payment
- Overdue — past the due date and still unpaid
- Paid — payment received
- Void — cancelled; no payment needed
Click any invoice in the list to expand its details, including the individual line items.
Downloading a PDF Invoice
To save or print an invoice:
- Find the invoice in your Billing list.
- Click the download icon (or Download PDF) next to it.
- The PDF opens in a new tab or downloads to your device, depending on your browser settings.
PDF invoices include your organization's name, billing address, invoice number, all line items, and payment status. They're suitable for expense reporting and record-keeping.
Paying an Invoice Online
- Find an unpaid invoice with a status of Sent or Overdue.
- Click on it to open the details.
- Click Pay Now.
- You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page.
- Enter your payment details — credit or debit card, or bank account (ACH) if offered.
- Confirm the payment.
- The invoice status updates to Paid within a few seconds. You'll receive a payment confirmation by email.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. The portal never stores your card number.
If You See a "Managed Billing" Notice
Some organizations are billed directly by their IT provider outside the portal. If you see a banner that says something like "Your subscription is managed by your service provider," it means invoices and payments are handled by your provider directly — you don't need to pay through the portal. Contact your IT provider for billing questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
I don't see a Billing section in the sidebar.
Billing is enabled per organization by your IT provider. If it's not visible, either your provider handles billing separately, or the section hasn't been turned on for your account. Ask your provider to clarify how billing works for your organization.
My invoice shows line items I don't recognize.
Each line item corresponds to a service or product your organization is subscribed to. Contact your IT provider for a breakdown of any unfamiliar charges.
I paid but the invoice still shows as unpaid.
Payments through Stripe typically update within seconds. If it's been more than a few minutes and the status hasn't changed, contact your IT provider with your payment confirmation number.
Can I set up automatic payments?
Automatic payment settings are managed by your IT provider. Contact them to ask about autopay options.
I need to update the billing contact or address on my invoices.
Billing contact and address changes are made by your IT provider. Contact them to request an update.
Can I pay with ACH (bank transfer)?
ACH is available if your IT provider has it enabled. You'll see it as an option on the Stripe payment page if it's available to your organization.
