MSP administrators manage Cypher across multiple client companies from a single admin account. This article covers the cross-company view, per-client dashboards, and the company management tools available to MSP admins. End users and single-company admins do not have access to these features.
The MSP Admin View
MSP admins see an additional layer of navigation beyond what a single-company admin sees. The top-level view shows all managed client companies and a cross-company report rollup.
To access the MSP admin view:
- Sign in with your MSP admin account.
- Navigate to Admin or the MSP dashboard section.
- You will see a list of all companies you manage.
Cross-Company Report
The cross-company report gives you a snapshot of training health across all your clients in one place.
- Go to Admin → Report.
- The report shows completion rates, risk indicators, and phishing click rates per company.
- Use this view to identify which clients need attention — low completion rates, high phishing click rates, or upcoming compliance due dates.
This report is designed for MSP admins to identify which clients to focus on and to demonstrate value during quarterly business reviews.
Per-Client Dashboards
To drill into a specific client company:
- Go to Admin → Companies.
- Click the company name.
- You are now viewing that company's data in context — their training completion, leaderboard (if Complete tier), compliance status, and user list.
To see individual users for a company:
- From the company view, click Users or go to Admin → Companies → [Company] → Users.
- The user list shows each user's current training status, level, and streak.
- Click a user to see their full profile, session history, and adaptive learning risk factors.
Managing Client Companies
Admins can add and update company records from the Clients section.
- Go to Clients in the Cypher navigation.
- To add a new company, click New Client and enter the company name and details.
- To update a company's profile (industry, size, role list), click the company and edit the fields.
- Save changes. Updated company profiles are used by THEO on the next scenario generation cycle.
Keeping each client's company profile accurate — especially industry, size, and role list — is important because it directly affects the content THEO generates for that company's users.
Company Setup for a New Client
When onboarding a new client to Cypher:
- Activate Cypher for the client through the portal billing or activation flow.
- Open Cypher and navigate to that client's company.
- Complete the company setup: name, industry, size, and role list.
- Set the training cadence (monthly recommended).
- Save. THEO generates a threat profile for the company.
- Users in that company will begin receiving training assignments on the next cadence cycle.
Tier Differences Across Clients
Each client company has its own Cypher tier (Essentials or Complete). MSP admins see indicators of which tier each company is on. Features like leaderboards, adaptive difficulty, and automatic micro-training enrollment are only available to clients on the Complete tier.
When reviewing reports or dashboards for a client, keep in mind that some sections (leaderboard, adaptive learning) may not be populated if they are on Essentials.
FAQ
Can I manage all clients from one login? Yes. Your MSP admin account has access to all companies you manage. You switch between company contexts from the admin companies list.
Can I run a phishing simulation across multiple clients at once? Phishing campaigns are scoped to one company at a time. Run separate campaigns per client from each company's phishing section.
What does the integration key control?
The integration key (onecyph_{tenantSlug}_{random}) is used for cross-service calls from other platform services (such as Defend triggering micro-training). It is not for end-user access. Rotate it from the client's settings page if it is compromised.
