Clarity's dashboards, health scores, forecasts and THEO answers are only as good as the data behind them. This guide connects your PSA so Clarity can start calculating, usually within one sync cycle.
How Clarity gets PSA data. Clarity reads your One Stack PSA natively, and also connects to Autotask, ConnectWise Manage and HaloPSA. For Autotask, ConnectWise Manage and HaloPSA, Clarity syncs into its own tables. For One Stack PSA, Clarity reads live — it does not sync a copy. Demo figures in Clarity sample data are not from a PSA.
Supported PSAs
- Autotask
- ConnectWise Manage
- HaloPSA
If your PSA isn't listed, you can export CSV into Clarity's normalized tables, or use Bridge to bring the data in.
How To: Connect your PSA
- Open Clarity and go to Connectors > New.
- Pick your PSA type.
- Enter your credentials. They're encrypted at rest.
- Pick a sync interval: 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or daily.
- Click Test Connection. Once it shows green, save.
- Click Sync Now and watch progress on the connector's Status tab as tickets, time entries, contracts and invoices come in.
What happens after the first sync
- After the first full sync, incremental syncs run every 15 minutes. You can start a manual sync from Connectors at any time.
- Executive KPIs, client health scores, profitability and SLA metrics fill in from the synced data. See Metrics library.
- Your PSA stays the system of record. Clarity is the reporting and analytics layer on top of it.
Troubleshooting
The connector sync is failing. Check Connectors > Status for the error. Most failures come from credentials or a missing API permission on the PSA side.
A dashboard template won't install. The template may need a connector you haven't set up. Connect the PSA first, then try again.
The numbers look stale. Start a manual sync from Connectors, then reload the dashboard.
